Peaceful Heart Sangha
|
|
Our sangha began meeting
in September of 2002. Our practice is based primarily upon the
teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. He is a Vietnamese monk
who has been living in France and teaching in the West for over
forty years. He is a prolific writer whose books illustrate Buddhism,
Zen and mindfulness teachings simply and beautifully. He is known
for social engagement, and peace and reconciliation practices. We are organized by a volunteer Sangha Care Team which currently includes Viviane Ephraimson-Abt, Elaine Hild, Beth Howard, Tom Linnell, Sheri Linnell, Patsi Maroney, Paul McClure, Nancy Mendenhall, Erich Stroheim, and Tam Snyder.
